Adding Team Members To An Account

By default, all accounts have the ability to add up to 15 members, not including the account owner. Each member added counts as one seat, and you can view the total count and statuses on the Manage Members page. Once a member is added, they can be included in as many projects as needed, and this does not count against the account’s member limit.

 Adding Team Members To Projects

When working on a project, you can assign different roles to users: super admin, admin, collaborator, and watcher. These roles determine the level of access and permissions for each user within the project.

Super Admin: Each project will have one super admin, who is the owner of the account that created the project. The super admin cannot be updated or edited and is automatically assigned when the project is created. Super admins do not have a rate assigned to them, so any work they do will not be used to calculate estimated expenses.

Admins: Admins have the highest level of access within a project. They can access all features and tabs in the Project Dashboard, including the dashboard view with worklog and estimated income & expenses, task management pages, the automatic email page for sending updates to clients, and the project settings page. Admins can also have a rate assigned to them, which is used to calculate estimated expenses when logging billable hours for projects with an hourly rate billing type.

Collaborators: Collaborators are users who can work on the project but do not have access to all project information and features. They can be assigned a rate, which is used to calculate estimated expenses when logging billable hours for projects with an hourly rate billing type. Collaborators have access to task management tabs, the ability to create, edit, and complete tasks & epics, log hours, and comment on tasks.

Watchers: Watchers have view-only access to the project. They cannot create or edit tasks and do not have a rate associated with them. Watchers can view all task management tabs, tasks, and epics, as well as comment on tasks and epics.
